Greenwave provides AIRWASTE system with 1 set of customized discharge valve along with integrated chute breakfall, installed in refuse tank room of 1.5m internal clear height to avoid GFA located at 5th Storey slab. The refuse pipe then runs suspended at 4th story high level and goes down to bin center at the Ist floor.
There is approximately 70m of 406mm OD refuse pipe in suspended scheme (with acoustic insulation) including the vertical drop from 5th to the 1st story.
The Bin Centre is fitted with a compactor designed to handle up to 35cum of refuse, and all equipment is layout to minimize the Bin Centre GFA. The refuse is directed to the compactor via refuse separator with rotating screen that separates the refuse from conveyance air. The compactor has hydraulic bin lifter that caters for bulky refuse from commercial shops.
